The XX2 also features a Titanium [whose atomic number is also 22 for those keeping score at home] midfoot shank plate, coated atop standard carbon fiber, to allow for the highest strength-to-weight ratio in metal alloys possible in footwear. The stealth inspiration taken from the fighter plane can draw many parallels to the Jordan V and its similar fighter plane ancestry, and yet the XX2 perfectly stands on its own in a clean silhouette that performs outstandingly for any position or style of play.
